Dodgers vs Pirates Graphing Recap

The Pirates were in town for a four game series vs the Dodgers this past weekend. I decided to check out the game on Saturday. Before I even walked into the left field level gates I ran into Eric Karros who kindly signed a ROMLB on the SS with 92 ROY inscription. Since Fox was televising the game Eric Karros was at the stadium to broadcast the game.

When I entered the stadium I was the first person inside. For some reason there weren't that many people around initially since the game was scheduled today to start at 4:15pm which is relatively a weird start time for a baseball game.

Showing up early paid off. After Josh Beckett finished playing toss with Clayton Kershaw he came over and signed a ROMLB for me on the SS. There was only one other fan to get his autograph since nobody else besides us were near the baseline seats at this time.

I asked if Josh could inscribe his no hitter on the baseball but he declined. I was happy to at least get his jersey number on the autograph.

The Dodgers made a display for fans to view to commemorate Josh Beckett's no hitter near the Top Deck team store.

After getting Josh Beckett's autograph Kenley Jansen signed a photo for me over the Dodger bullpen.

I also ended up getting cards signed by Chris Perez, Jamey Wright, Brandon League, and Paul Maholm.

During BP I ended up with two baseballs as well.

After the Dodgers were done with BP the Pirates came out to warm up.

I ended up going to the bullpen to watch Gerrit Cole pitch.

After his bullpen session he signed a ROMLB on the SS for me.

Afterwards I ended up getting Francisco Liriano to sign a photo for me with the no hitter inscription over the bullpen.

I also ended up getting cards signed by Neil Walker, Clint Barmes, Edinson Volquez, Travis Snider, Charlie Morton, Jason Grilli, Jose Tabata, and Starling Marte.

And a ROMLB signed by Starling Marte on the SS.

Cutch signed my 2011 All Star baseball under the logo. Even though it's not it full signature I still like how it came out.

Dodgers vs Reds Memorial Day Game 5-26-14

Since Ryu was scheduled to pitch and since I had a day off for Memorial Day I decided to attend the Dodgers vs Reds Game. This was the first time this year I had time to take advantage of using my Dodger Pride Rewards card which replaced the MVP pass from last year. I decided to take a few photos of the Dodgers warming up.

In terms of graphing it was a weak day for Dodger autographs as there were tons of other fans to compete with at the stadium. It seems as though the players aren't signing much anymore compared to previous years.

The first Dodger to sign for me was Chris Perez who signed five cards for me. Chris is a nice guy. Justin Turner signed two cards for me as well.

Here is a recap of my Reds autographs.

I ended up getting Billy Hamilton to sign a ROMLB on the SS for me.

I got a bunch of cards signed by Sean Marshall, Logan Ondrusek, Todd Frazier, Devin Mesoraco, and former Dodger Skip Schumaker.

The game was almost another memorable Memorial Day as Ryu pitched a perfect game into the 8th inning. Unfortunately the perfect game was cut short as Todd Frazier got a hit off Ryu in the 8th inning.

Howie Kendrick Signing at Stadium Nissan 5-24-14

I decided to attend the Howie Kendrick Signing at Stadium Nissan. The signing was scheduled to take place from 11-1pm but Howie ended up showing up early at around 10:30 and started to sign.

As expected less than 100 people showed up to the signing which is great since there is no drama at signings with low turnouts. It seems as though Howie has been having a free signing every week this year as he already had two appearances before this event and two during the same week. He is tough to get at the stadium so it's nice that he has these free signings.

I ended up getting a 2011 All Star Game ball signed under the logo as well as a heritage card.

My migraines kicked in so I went home to rest and skipped the game.

Angels vs Royals Series

I didn't attend any games due to my schedule and because of migraines. Here are some of my pickups over the weekend via postgame graphing.

Alcides Escobar and Danny Duffy on cards

Salvador Perez signed my 2013 All Star baseball under the logo as well but when I asked for the 1st All Star Game inscription I think Salvador forgot how to spell 1st ASG.

It looks like he started to write 1st but ran out of room then put AG instead of ASG. Oh well this is a 1 of 1 extremely limited Salvador Perez autograph with 1 SAG inscription.

My last autograph was from Billy Butler who signed my 2012 All Star baseball under the logo.
